On Monday, March 7, 2016, Governor Mark Dayton sent a letter to Twin Metals denying access to state land to advance the development of Twin Metals’ proposed copper-nickel mine near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (Read Governor Dayton’s letter here). While we must continue working hard to protect the Lake Superior Basin and all of Minnesota's waters from sulfide mining pollution, it's crucial that we thank Governor Dayton for this courageous move.

Send Governor Dayton a “thank you” note for his action to protect Minnesota’s iconic waters from sulfide mining pollution.
