The Minnesota DNR has proposed six draft water appropriation permits for the PolyMet NorthMet sulfide mine, and we have until SEPTEMBER 12, 2017 to speak up. Tell the DNR to deny the PolyMet draft water appropriation permits!

These draft permits would allow PolyMet to appropriate 6.175 billion gallons of water every year for its sulfide mine project. PolyMet hasn’t studied this huge level of water consumption or shown that streams, groundwater and wetlands wouldn’t be contaminated and desiccated. Stop this uncontrolled experiment with Lake Superior watersheds!
